THE SENIOR CHOIR
The Senior Choir is open to all members of St. John. A desire to sing praises to God is the only requirement, and making a “joyful noise” is our goal. Please join us all year or for special seasons, if desired. We meet in the Day School Library on Wednesdays at 6:30 P.M. The Director is Jan Kaiser, accompanied by Donna Van Vlerah.
This school choir, directed by Sandra Gyurnek and Deb Maxey, consists of students in grades 3 through 8. Practice is during school hours each Tuesday.
The 11:00 worship teams in church are directed by a team of Deb Maxey, Lorna Smith, Connie Warncke, Lonnie Warncke, Casie Sprow, under the direction of Pastor Luhring.
Interested persons are invited to apply for positions on one of the four teams or when new teams are formed. Contact Deb Maxey or Pastor Luhring for more information.
Worship team in the gym is directed by Myra Schilperoot and Russ Notestine. Musicians and singers are invited to audition for leadership roles. Contact Myra at 419-438-0505 or Pastor at 419-782-5766.
Rejoice! Dance Group is for 5th thru 8th grade girls and meets Wednesday evenings from 5:15 – 6:00 p.m. in the church. Advisor for the group is Casie Sprow.
Exalt! Dance group is for high school young women and older meet from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Sunday evenings in the church.
Praise! Group is part of the Sunday School Ministry and meets 3 – 4 times a year for special dances.
